The flange on a stoma bag is designed to stick on your skin and stay there. This makes getting them off a problem
You can use soap and water to gently peel the flange away from your skin, but it is sometimes easier to simply spray this on the area around the top of the bag. The glue dissolves on contact, making removal easy.
There are many different types of spray available, but the one I use, "Appeel" can be found here (along with the adhesive wipes).
